Who we are
The Lone Star Hemp Coalition brings together the people who make Texas hemp work: businesses, farmers, processors, retailers, and the adult consumers who buy legal, tested products.
Hemp in Texas is a real industry with real jobs. It is also a target. Lawmakers in Austin and Washington have tried to ban most hemp THC products outright. We think that is the wrong answer. A ban does not make demand disappear. It sends customers to unregulated sellers and puts Texans out of work.
What we stand for
- Regulate, don't ban. Clear, enforceable rules for the whole market.
- 21+ with ID. Adults only, with an ID check at every sale.
- Testing and labeling. Lab-tested products, labeled with what is actually in them.
- Keep Texas jobs. Protect the farms, plants, stores and brands that employ Texans.
What we do
- Track state and federal hemp law and explain it in plain language, with sources.
- Help members and supporters reach their legislators when it counts.
- Bring the industry together at events across the state.
What we don't do
We don't sell hemp products, and we don't promote any brand. This site is about policy.
